System Boiler Installation
System Boiler Installation
System boiler installation for larger Kingston upon Thames and South West London homes — high, stable hot water flow to several bathrooms at once from a sealed cylinder.
About this service
System Boiler Installation in South West London, done properly the first time
Once a property has two or more bathrooms in regular use, a combi starts to struggle and a system boiler with an unvented cylinder becomes the sensible answer. That covers a lot of the larger houses around Twickenham, Surbiton, Totteridge and the KT2 side of Kingston upon Thames.
A system boiler keeps the pump and expansion vessel inside the unit and feeds a sealed cylinder, so you get mains-pressure hot water at every outlet simultaneously — no loft tanks, no gravity-fed weakness upstairs.
Cylinder sizing matters as much as boiler output. We size it against how many people use the property and when, so you are not reheating all evening or running out mid-shower.

Frequently asked
Your questions, answered
System boiler or combi?
Two or more bathrooms in simultaneous use, or a large family, points to a system boiler and cylinder. One bathroom and good mains pressure points to a combi.
Do I need an unvented cylinder?
Not necessarily, but it is the usual pairing because it gives mains-pressure hot water everywhere. Unvented work must be carried out by a G3-qualified engineer, which we are.
Where does the cylinder go?
Usually the airing cupboard or a loft space with the required discharge route. We check the discharge pipe run at survey, because that decides what is possible.
