About this service
Ideal Boilers in South West London, done properly the first time
Ideal boilers are built in Hull and are one of the most sensible mid-market choices in South West London. The Logic range fits into a standard kitchen cupboard, which is exactly what is needed in the flats and conversions around Richmond and Wimbledon.
Whether you need a straight Ideal swap, a move from a regular boiler and cylinder to a Ideal combi, or a diagnosis on a unit that keeps locking out, the work is carried out by our own Gas Safe engineers — never sub-contracted. We survey the property first, because the right answer in a three-storey Victorian terrace in New Kingston upon Thames is rarely the right answer in a two-bed flat in Putney.
On Ideal boilers the faults we are called to most are F1 — low water pressure; L2 — ignition lockout; F2 — flame loss; L6 — fan fault. Most are repairable in a single visit once diagnosed properly, and we will always tell you plainly when a repair is not worth the money against a replacement.
Flats, small kitchens and cupboard installations where footprint and value matter. If you are weighing Ideal against another manufacturer, ask us — we install every major UK brand, so we have no reason to steer you anywhere except the boiler that suits your property, your hot water demand and your budget.

Frequently asked
Your questions, answered
Do you install Ideal boilers in Kingston upon Thames?
Yes. Our Gas Safe registered engineers install, service and repair Ideal boilers across Kingston upon Thames (KT1, KT2 and TW9) and the neighbouring TW11, KT3 and SW19 postcodes, as well as Richmond, Wimbledon, Twickenham, Surbiton, Fulham, Putney, Teddington, New Malden, Molesey, Hounslow, Brentford, Isleworth, Long Ditton, Worcester Park, Roehampton, Raynes Park, Morden, Petersham, Motspur Park and the rest of South West London.
Which Ideal models do you work on?
We work across the current Ideal range — including Logic Max Combi, Logic Combi, Logic Heat & Logic System, Vogue Max — and we still service and repair older models where parts remain available.
How much does a Ideal boiler cost to install?
We do not publish prices for boiler work, because the honest figure depends on the model, the state of your existing system, flue and condensate routes, gas pipe sizing and access. Send us a few details or call and we will give you a fixed written price for your property before anything is booked.
What warranty comes with a new Ideal boiler?
Warranty length depends on the specific Ideal model, the installation and registering the boiler with the manufacturer, so we confirm the exact terms in writing with your quote rather than quoting a headline figure. Annual servicing is normally a condition of keeping any manufacturer warranty valid. Our own workmanship guarantee sits on top of it.
Can you repair a Ideal boiler that has locked out?
Usually, yes. The faults we see most often on Ideal are F1 — low water pressure; L2 — ignition lockout; F2 — flame loss. We diagnose first, tell you what the part and labour will be, and only then carry out the repair.
Which areas do you cover for Ideal boiler work?
We cover the whole of South West London for Ideal installation, servicing and repairs, including Kingston upon Thames, Richmond, Wimbledon, Twickenham, Surbiton, Fulham, Putney, Teddington, New Malden, Molesey, Hounslow, Brentford, Isleworth, Long Ditton, Worcester Park, Roehampton, Raynes Park, Morden, Petersham, Motspur Park and the surrounding KT, TW and SW postcodes.
